US University Application Mentor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a US Application Mentor to support high school students in their university application process.

Key Responsibilities

• Brainstorming and editing students' personal statements and supplementary essays for university applications
• Ensuring all components of college applications are completed for assigned students
• Preparing students for college interviews as needed

Required Qualifications and Education

• Graduate of a top 30 undergraduate or graduate program in the U.S., or a professional educator/writer
• Experience working with ESL and/or special education students is a plus
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) is strongly encouraged
• Strong essay editing skills with a deep understanding of admissions committee expectations
• Ability to manage multiple students' essay drafts and case details effectively
