QA Automation Engineer

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Provide quality plans, quality assessments, quality control tests, evaluations, and service level agreements for information system infrastructure services or projects.
• Provide quality assurance processes by creating test plans, establishing a testing strategy, and developing a testing schedule based on the software development process.
• Establish testing scenarios and automated scripts for comprehensive testing.
• Execute testing at all levels, including automated tests.
• Adhere to testing techniques and quality conventions throughout the testing process.

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Bachelor Degree with minimum 7 years of general IT experience (or Master Degree with minimum 3 years of experience).
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and strategies (ISTQB certification is a plus), with experience in test management, defect tracking, and ALM tools.
• Solid experience in automated testing practices for both front-end and back-end systems, including tools like Selenium, Ranorex, JUnit, and Postman.
• Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, Ranorex, JIRA, Confluence, SoapUI, SonarQube, and JMeter.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile, PM², and RUP.
• Ability to write clear, well-structured technical documentation (test plans, strategies, cases, reports, etc.).
• Experience with the Java technology stack.
• Familiarity with business process analysis.
• Understanding of interoperability and messaging protocols (SOAP, WS-Security, AS4, e-Codex, e-Delivery) is a plus.
• Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level.
