Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate renewal rates and manage the profitability of existing business
• Complete new business quotes and support corporate sales and profitability goals
• Monitor financial performance and provide technical expertise to Account Managers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 3 years of underwriting experience in group health and related benefits
• Knowledge of risk selection and pricing methodologies in health insurance
• Familiarity with industry laws, regulations, and market trends
• Experience in the health insurance industry and knowledge of medical products preferred
