CPA Controller, North America

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller for North America to lead accounting and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting function, including the monthly close process and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and manage day-to-day accounting operations
• Develop and mentor a high-performing accounting team while supporting transformational projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with 5 years in a controllership role
• Public accounting experience preferred, with knowledge of US GAAP and industry-specific guidelines
• Proven leadership skills in multinational environments and experience with US and Canada-based companies
• Proficient in ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and experienced in team development
