Customer Service Rep Teller Support Specialist

Our partner is seeking a Customer Service Representative Teller Support Specialist in Plattsburgh, NY. Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service and a positive banking experience by handling financial transactions such as opening accounts and cashing checks.
• Explain and sell products and services to meet customer needs.
• Contact customers to schedule sales appointments and promote products.
• Participate in branch prospecting efforts.
• Assist customers with requests such as stop payments, wire transfers, balance discrepancies, and loan information.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and operational areas.
• Conduct transactions accurately and maintain daily cash balancing according to established guidelines.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Stay focused and demonstrate core values such as strong work ethic, integrity, respect, responsibility, transparency, and humility.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Internal product knowledge and teller training.
• Accurate and proficient math skills.
• Strong attention to detail in documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to think clearly and stay focused.
• Must demonstrate core values: strong work ethics, integrity, respect for others, responsibility, transparency, and humility.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking and/or customer service required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Travel to surrounding branches may be required as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
• Use of hands and fingers, reaching with hands or arms, and speaking and hearing.
• Occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to focus.

Compensation

• Minimum: USD $17.50/Hr.
• Maximum: USD $23.82/Hr.
