Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Buyer to manage procurement activities within the Purchasing Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise procurement sections to ensure efficient purchasing operations
  • Consult with departments on specifications and provide technical assistance regarding purchasing procedures
  • Monitor procurements for compliance and facilitate sourcing of products and services in collaboration with end-users
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • 2 years of progressively responsible procurement experience
  • CTPM or CTCD certification within 1-1/2 years
  • Prior experience in government procurement is helpful
  • Experience with Jaggaer eProcurement and PeopleSoft is preferred
