Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Pharmacist Communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Drug Utilization Reviews (DURs) and manage prescription transfers and provider clarifications
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations while processing prescriptions
• Consult with patients and healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions and medication records

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a state pharmacy license
• Experience with automated prescription systems and clinical software
• Ability to monitor drug therapy and recognize significant drug interactions
• Experience in training and supervising pharmacy interns and technicians
