A company is looking for a Senior Director, Claims Legal.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel for claims operations, including coverage issues and regulatory compliance
• Develop and manage a national panel defense counsel program, ensuring quality and cost efficiency
• Attract, hire, and develop a high-performing legal team while advising on claims trends and legal exposure

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of legal experience in insurance litigation and regulatory compliance
• 10+ years of experience in personal passenger and/or commercial auto insurance
• Proven track record in managing external counsel relationships and driving legal outcomes
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school; admission to at least one state bar required
• Strong experience in managing an internal staff counsel team
