State Licensed Inpatient Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Auditor to join their team in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in auditing tasks of medical record coding, documentation, compliance, and DRG assignment
• Review medical records for completeness and accuracy regarding severity of illness and risk of mortality
• Conduct clinical documentation tasks, meeting productivity and quality standards as set for each project

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 12 years of experience in clinical coding
• RHIA, RHIT with CCS certification and 8+ years of clinical coding experience, or Valid RN License with 8+ years acute care experience
• Recognized CDI credential from ACDIS (CCDS) or AHIMA (CDIP)
• 5+ years of CDI experience
• 2+ years of auditing experience
