Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director (Collaborating Physician - CA Licensed).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in California
• Provide clinical oversight and support to ensure high standards of care
• Support quality improvement initiatives, including gap closure programs and clinical protocol development

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted California medical license
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience; leadership or administrative experience preferred
• Passion for serving underserved populations and improving access to care
• Familiarity with Athenahealth and NCQA quality metrics is a plus
