State Licensed Employment Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Employment and Labor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day legal counseling on labor and employment issues throughout the employment lifecycle
  • Develop strategies to enhance compliance and mitigate employment-related risks
  • Deliver legal updates and training to HR and business managers to manage risks across the organization
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of legal experience in labor and employment at a top-tier law firm and large in-house legal department
  • Experience handling labor and employment matters before federal and state courts
  • JD (or non-US equivalent) with membership in at least one U.S. state bar
  • Experience advising multi-nationals on international employment matters
  • Proven track record of providing legal and strategic guidance to senior leaders
