Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to manage accounts payable and assist with accounts receivable functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Accounts Payable function, including posting vendor bills and processing payments
• Lead daily cash activity posting and prepare incoming checks for deposit
• Maintain accurate Accounts Payable Aging reports and assist with client invoicing and collections

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in accounting or a related field
• Working knowledge of financial concepts related to Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Prior experience with 1099 filings and requirements is preferred
• Ability to work overtime at month-end if needed
