SSDI/SSI Policy Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SSDI/SSI Policy Expert to serve as an authority on Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret complex federal disability law and provide policy guidance for training development
• Ensure training materials reflect current regulations and administrative procedures for disability benefits determination
• Deliver training, workshops, and provide technical assistance related to Social Security policies

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Policy, Law, or related field with 10+ years of Social Security policy experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Social Security Act, CFR Title 20, and related federal disability regulations
• Experience with federal policy development, regulatory interpretation, and compliance requirements
• Background in federal administrative law, disability determination processes, and appeals procedures
• Eligibility for security clearance and experience with sensitive policy information and federal decision-making processes
