SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities for aircraft maintenance;
• Supervise F.B.O. technical personnel;
• Work collaboratively with Maintenance Coordinators and Crew Chiefs when scheduling manpower, in order efficiently complete maintenance projects at base and away from base;
• Ensure tooling and equipment are available to maintenance personnel to effectively and safely complete assigned work;
• Participate in operations and maintenance meetings;
• Take an active role in the Safety Management System;
• Take an active role in the daily operations of hangar;
• Conduct performance reviews for F.B.O. technical personnel;
• Collaborate with internal departments and clients;
• Work collaboratively with immediate manager with the following: productivity, equipment purchase and client services;
• Review invoices, as needed;
• Communicate with customers, as required;
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Valid Transport Canada M-2 E license, or equivalent
• Minimum of eight (8) years related experience in maintenance and experience in supervision
• Background in working on Business Aircraft types is an asset
• Endorsements on Business Aircrafts would be an asset
• Good leadership skills and ability to engage a team
• Ability to solve complex problems and implement appropriate solutions
• Ability to work in a demanding environment, and deliver under pressure
• Customer service oriented
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize
• Bilingualism is an asset
EDUCATION:
• Completed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program or equivalent
