Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Underwriting Associates.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Underwriting Associate team's functions, ensuring adherence to service levels and providing training
• Drive strategy and process improvements, collaborating with leadership to enhance operational excellence
• Mentor and develop team members, overseeing hiring and performance management processes

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• At least 6 years in an underwriting associate or support role, with experience in Workers' Compensation and Commercial Auto preferred
• A minimum of 2 years in a team lead role or equivalent required
• Advanced knowledge of underwriting processes and strategic prioritization of departmental goals
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and make independent decisions to improve productivity
