POSITION OVERVIEW:  

This role is located at our Yonge Eglinton Centre office. This position is responsible for executing on marketing initiatives in support of RioCan Living’s residential brands. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate the execution of marketing initiatives for all RioCan Living residential and mixed-use properties; 
  • Coordinate the execution of marketing initiatives in support of RioCan Living’s corporate communications plan; 
  • Collaborate with external agency partners in the development and execution of appropriate marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns, merchandising events, and promotional activities throughout the development lifecycle in a timely, accurate, and effective manner; 
  • Coordinate the execution of RioCan Living social media, including content planning, creation, and community engagement; 
  • Manage the RioCan Living corporate website content and updates; 
  • Contribute to the creation and review of marketing content and materials, including light copywriting for digital and print collateral; 
  • Assist with the design and production of marketing assets using tools such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva; 
  • Reconcile marketing budgets, process invoices and estimates for third parties, and generate POs for third-party suppliers; 
  • Review and coordinate changes to marketing floor plans; 
  • Manage the RioCan Living general email account; 
  • Coordinate award submissions inclusive of BILD, OHBA, CHBA, etc; 
  • Manage RioCan Living asset library and folders; 
  • Research, compile, analyze, and consolidate data from various databases for internal and external partners; 
  • Enhance and foster partnerships with internal teams and external partners; 
  • Other duties/projects as assigned; 
  • Travel required within the GTA (visiting sales offices, sites, and competitors), with occasional travel within Canada; 
  • During launch periods, hours may fall outside of regular business hours, and schedule flexibility is required, including being available on evenings and weekends. 


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • University/College Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Marketing or Design; 
  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a relevant role; 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; 
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills, with the ability to meet competing deadlines; 
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities; 
  • Proven oral and written communication skills; 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment; 
  • High proficiency in MS Office suite; 
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok; 
  • Experience with content creation, social media management, and light copywriting;  
  • Working knowledge of graphic design principles and tools, including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
