Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant - GL and Excess - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-quote transaction support by validating data entry and verifying documentation
• Complete transactions post-bind, including processing bind orders and issuing approved policies
• Collaborate with other departments and assist with special projects to improve processes

Required Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of insurance operations experience
• Strong expertise in surplus lines policy issuance and post-bind operations
• College degree preferred
• Solid computer skills including Word and Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
