Underwriter II

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter II (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage an assigned book of business, applying underwriting philosophy and guidelines
• Evaluate, select, and price new and renewal business within granted underwriting authority
• Analyze risk exposures and collaborate with producers and policyholders to build strong relationships

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance and Risk Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of workers compensation or property and casualty insurance experience required
• Valid driver's license required
• Insurance designations such as RWCS, AINS, AU, or CPCU are highly encouraged
