Job Summary

A company is looking for a PrePay Coder, CPC, remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze high risk and/or high dollar claims to ensure accurate payment prior to processing
• Review medical documentation to validate billing appropriateness and compliance with policies
• Document identified issues and participate in special projects to improve claims processing

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 4+ years of experience in medical billing and coding
• Certified Professional Coding (CPC) certification is mandatory
• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Evaluation and Management (E&M) Coding guidelines
