Texas Licensed Tax Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Accountant - Sales Tax.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit sales and use tax returns for designated companies
• Conduct research on tax issues, presenting findings and recommendations to management
• Ensure timely and accurate tax payments to multiple jurisdictions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Relevant sales tax experience
• Familiarity with tax research tools such as CCH or TTR is preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with IBM AS400, PeopleSoft, and Vertex
• Solid understanding of sales tax processes and compliance requirements
