Job Summary

A company is looking for an AVP, Legal Counsel to provide legal administration services for multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervises and prepares client registration statement updates and SEC filings
• Leads the preparation and distribution of board and committee materials, attending meetings as needed
• Mentors associates and maintains strong client relationships while ensuring high satisfaction levels

Required Qualifications

• J.D. and membership (or anticipated membership) in the bar of at least one state
• 3-5 years of experience as a 1940 Act attorney
• Management and leadership experience
• Knowledge of relevant securities laws and the Investment Company Act of 1940
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
