Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to assist with general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks to maintain accurate general ledger activity
• Support the month-end close process, including preparing and posting manual journal entries
• Perform reconciliations and monitor financial data to identify trends and resolve discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in public accounting or a public company
• BA or BS degree in Accounting from a top-ranking university
• CPA or CPA track strongly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
