Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Payroll Accountant to join their accounting team remotely for a long-term contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile payroll data between Workday Payroll and Workday Financial systems
• Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries and manage general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes related to payroll and financial operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management and Payroll systems
• Proficiency in account reconciliation and balance sheet analysis
• Advanced knowledge of journal entries and month-end close processes
