Sr. Manager, Revenue Analytics

The Revenue & Yield Management teams develop and guide the revenue strategy for multiple brands across the Disney Portfolio. The team models, measures, sets, and executes these strategies by marketplace, in parallel with identifying consistencies across the business that will better inform cross-portfolio packaging and sales.

The Revenue Analytics, Senior Manager will report to the Director, Revenue Analytics for the sports and entertainment organization within the Walt Disney Company. As Revenue Analytics Sr. Manager, you will be managing the reporting and analysis of multiple properties. The Senior Manager will work with sales vertical teams to evaluate performance, short and long-term goals, and communicate results to Sales Leadership. This role requires cross-functional collaboration across the Sales department and will be responsible for the effective communication of budgets, forecasts, quarter close, insights, and recommendations throughout the Sales organization.

What You Will Do
• Forecast short and long-term sales demand against available sales inventory. Partner with Finance teams to ensure financial plans (Quarter Close, Forecasts, Budget/AO,P, and Long-Range Planning exercises) are consistent with business objectives and monitor execution across the Sales organization.
• Provide Sales teams with clear insights into business drivers to inform strategic decisions. Develop consistent outputs (weekly, quarterly, annual reporting as well as presentations) to evaluate sales metrics, assess risk, and identify opportunities.
• Supervise Liability reporting; balance business priorities to fill open areas with client needs. Supply finance and controllership teams with accounting and financial reporting.
• Manage ad-hoc financial projects; partner with business segment planning teams, research, sales, and inventory teams.
• Support consolidation efforts to unify financial modeling and reporting across various business units.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum of 7 years of media/ad sales/finance experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience managing a team
• Expert in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel modeling)
• Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills. Comfortable leading projects and driving cross-departmental solutions.
• Quantitative thinker, with superior problem-solving skills

Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or graduate degree in Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred

The hiring range for this position in New York is $157,600 to $192,600 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
