Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Disability Claims Examiner to provide concierge-level customer service for disability claims management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a block of approximately 75 Long-Term and Short-Term Disability claims, ensuring exceptional customer service
  • Engage with clients and internal resources to enhance the claimant experience and address complex claims
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement within the Concierge Team
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Long-Term Disability claims management
  • Understanding of Short-Term Disability claims and Life Waiver of Premium is preferred
  • Ability to interact confidently with attorneys and medical professionals
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to interpret complex policy provisions
  • Advanced math skills for financial calculations related to disability claims
