Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer - Product Security (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a security expert and advisor for engineering teams, influencing product design and capabilities
• Create and maintain threat models to drive security architecture reviews and reduce threat surfaces
• Conduct application source code reviews to identify security defects and collaborate with developers on solutions

Required Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a focus on identifying security defects and engaging with engineering teams
• Deep understanding of software development in Agile/DevOps environments
• Experience with threat modeling frameworks, particularly STRIDE
• Proven experience in manual secure code review for applications using Go, Python, or JavaScript
• Knowledge of secure configurations for cloud-native and containerized applications across multiple cloud environments
