CICS Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CICS Systems Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, implement, and ensure the performance and integrity of IBM CICS/TS and CICS/TG systems
• Configure and administer CICS Webservices and Liberty Profile JVMs, including URIMAPs and pipes
• Perform dump analysis and determine root causes of system problems and outages

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
• 5 years of experience in application maintenance and mainframe environments
• Proficiency with CICS, CTG, and CMOD
• Experience with vendor products such as Compuware AbendAid and TMON for CICS
• Knowledge of COBOL and Java programming is a plus
