Transcription Services Opportunity for Legal/Judicial Contract Candidates
VIQ Solutions, a leader in providing transcription services across industries, is seeking experienced Legal/Judicial contract candidates for a remote opportunity. As a transcriptionist, you will handle depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with utmost accuracy and attention to detail. This role requires… familiarity with legal terminology, excellent grammar, and adherence to client-specific style guides.
Key Responsibilities
? Process audio recordings to produce verbatim transcripts
? Pay close attention to detail in capturing spoken content
? Utilize legal terminology effectively
? Adhere to client-specific style guides
? Collaborate remotely with our supportive, in-office team whenever needed
? Set your own schedule and work according to your availability
Qualifications
? Prior experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription
? Exceptional listening skills
? Strong ability to meet deadlines
? Excellent literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar
? Proficiency in typing speed and accuracy
? Ability to handle extreme audio/text content, which may be offensive
? Willingness to undergo background check
? Familiarity with legal terminology
? Court reporting students welcome to apply
