Key Responsibilities

• Receive inbound and make outbound calls to verify patient insurance coverage and maintain documentation
• Review assigned claims and update patient accounts to reflect current information
• Communicate insurance-related disputes to clients and perform account activities to affect payment on claims

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare revenue cycle environment, focusing on insurance billing and collections
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance, including managed care and commercial insurance carriers
• Familiarity with codes used in health insurance claims and medical terminology
• Ability to work from home with a quiet workspace and high-speed internet connection
