Job Summary

A company is looking for an RX Refill Specialist to support patient prescription needs and collaborate with medical providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Process prescription refill requests from patients and pharmacies via calls, live chat, and electronic transmission
• Communicate with providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies to ensure timely medication access for patients
• Maintain accurate documentation of prescription interactions and assist with appointment scheduling as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician course and/or formal Medical Assistant training program
• Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Pharmacy Technician licensure/certification (preferred)
• 1+ years of experience in Pharmacy Technician or Medical Assistant roles, particularly with prescription refills
• Experience using EMR systems, preferably Athena Health
