Registered Nurse Clinical Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Consultant I.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide client-facing support for Coding Validation and act as a liaison between internal teams and external customers
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance Coding Validation processes and support quality assurance activities
• Assist in the preparation of policy presentations and manage appeals processes as needed

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with an active and unrestricted RN license
• Professional coder certification (CPC, CPC-H, CPC-P, or CCS-P), RHIT or RHIA certification required
• 2+ years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
• 1+ years of experience in Coding Validation and claims adjudication
• 1+ years of customer service or client management experience in a healthcare setting
