Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payments Director, NA (Cards & APMs) to manage and grow partnerships with global card networks and acquirers in North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of partnerships with networks and acquirers across various business models
• Drive new partnership constructs and manage day-to-day relationships with global payment networks
• Lead cost optimization strategies and support growth into virtual card issuance and automation

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in card payments at an acquirer, card scheme, or merchant
• Deep understanding of the North America payments ecosystem and global card acquirers
• Expertise in payment processing technicalities and familiarity with local regulations
• Proven track record in building partnerships and conducting strategic negotiations
• Strong preference for candidates located near major geo-clusters and hubs in the US
