New York Licensed Forensic Psychiatrist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Per Diem Forensic Examiner Psychiatrist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with defendants via videoconference or in-person
• Review legal documents and medical records to form independent psycholegal opinions
• Prepare written reports and provide courtroom testimony as required

Required Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid New York State medical license in good standing
• Current certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• At least one year of experience in forensic court clinic work
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
