Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Educational ASL Interpreter (Missouri Certified).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide live, synchronous interpretation for virtual instruction, IEPs, and school events

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Restricted Certification in Education (RCED) for grades K-6 and/or 7-12 via the Missouri Interpreters Certification System (MICS)
  • Strong command of ASL and spoken English
  • Experience interpreting in K-12 environments, including classrooms and IEPs
  • Familiarity with platforms like Zoom and Teams, with solid tech troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of DHH education, assistive technologies, and ADA/IDEA compliance
