A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist 2 (PB).

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient eligibility and authorization for healthcare services
  • Conduct research on unpaid or denied claims and monitor claims for missing information
  • Contact payers to secure payment of claims and prepare appeals as necessary
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least three years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable follow-up
  • Experience with accounts receivable software and navigating payer sites
  • Knowledge of medical business office procedures and third-party payer billing
  • Demonstrated ability to meet performance objectives and work with cross-functional teams
