Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Systems Programmer- VSE.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the installation, testing, and implementation of z/VSE operating systems and software
• Provide technical support and mentoring while managing ongoing projects and system performance
• Monitor and tune systems software, ensuring effective collaboration with teams and clients

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in mainframe systems programming
• Fluency in VSE JCL with the ability to advise on JCL issues
• Knowledge of installation and administration of ISV and IBM z/VSE software
• Experience with IBM Z hardware and general networking concepts
• Working knowledge of z/VM, including CP and CMS
