Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre Service- Auth Insurance Verification Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage authorizations, insurance, and referrals for ambulatory providers
  • Verify insurance information, manage referrals, and monitor pre-authorizations
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and insurance representatives to resolve authorization issues
Required Qualifications
  • One (1) year of post high school business or college coursework preferred
  • Two (2) years of pre-authorization or referral coordinator experience, or equivalent insurance experience
  • Graduate of a health vocational program with one year of healthcare experience preferred
  • Medical Terminology proficiency by examination
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a customer service role
