Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialty Pharmacy Technician to join their team and enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and send medications to patients under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Assist with insurance rejections, prior authorizations, and copay assistance
• Participate in the training of new employees and ensure quality assurance is maintained

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months relevant experience required
• Commonwealth of Virginia Pharmacy Technician Registration required
• CPhT credential through National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required
• Certification as CPhT must be obtained by January 31, 2022, for team members hired prior to February 1, 2020
