Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Authorization / Verification Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete pre-registrations by verifying insurance information and validating referrals and prior authorizations
• Provide price estimates for healthcare services and identify financial resources for services provided
• Communicate and resolve pre-service authorization denials with referring providers

Required Qualifications and Education

• One (1) year of post high school business or college course work preferred
• National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification preferred
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a customer service role preferred
• Proficiency in Medical Terminology by exam
• One (1) year experience in admitting, billing, or registration in a healthcare setting or equivalent education
