Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Health Information Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees the functions of the Health Information Management department, ensuring compliance and accuracy in medical record documentation and coding
• Collaborates with clinicians and leadership to prioritize data-driven projects and implement regulatory changes
• Monitors departmental budgets and works towards enhancing revenue through various initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, or MBA
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in Health Information Management, preferably at the Director level
• Strong knowledge of health information management functions, coding, billing processes, and regulatory requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
