Key Responsibilities

• Develop and provide strategic recommendations for firewall rule optimizations to enhance security and efficiency
• Oversee and validate network change requests related to firewall rules, ensuring compliance with security policies
• Drive automation initiatives by creating scripts and workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual efforts

Required Qualifications

• Experience with critical protocols, information assurance, and network security architecture
• Knowledge of Defense-In-Depth principles for IT architecture design
• Ability to provide expertise in the systems lifecycle and security design process
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination
• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years, Master's degree with 7+ years, or Doctorate with 5+ years of experience in a professional environment
