Environmental Technical Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Specialist - Environmental (Retainer).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter advice on plastic recycling and the plastic value chain to the project team
• Support the National Technical Expert in conducting plastic value chain assessments and stakeholder consultations
• Guide capacity development activities for local organizations and private companies involved in plastic recycling

Required Qualifications

• A Master's degree in waste management, plastic recycling technology, circular economy, or environmental management
• 5 years of experience in municipal waste management, plastic recycling, or environmental management
• Solid knowledge of waste management and recycling processes, specifically related to plastic waste
• Familiarity with plastic recycling technologies and processes
• Fluency in English; basic knowledge of Arabic is preferred
