Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Specialist - Disability & Leave Benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and apply department processes and regulatory policies
• Manage and prioritize incoming claims and correspondence to meet turnaround times
• Conduct outreach to gather necessary information for claim management

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 1-2 years' experience in a disability claims environment
• Experience with state-mandated disability claims is highly preferred
• Knowledge of federal and state laws on leaves of absence
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
