Job Summary

A company is looking for a licensed Doctor of Optometry to work remotely in Alabama.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine patients using patented remote technology in the state of Alabama
• Utilize specialized video conference technology to communicate with patients
• Analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses with support from an Ophthalmic Technician

Required Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Doctor of Optometry license in Alabama
• Experience in tele-optometry or remote patient care is preferred
• Ability to work as an Independent Contractor
• Multiple state licenses are a plus
• Willingness to undergo credentialing and training as needed
