Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Underwriting and Processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor Processing and Underwriting managers to develop high-performing teams
• Oversee team performance goals and ensure collaboration between Processing and Underwriting departments
• Own investment risk policy and participate in the Credit Committee to establish policy and resolve complex issues

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading processing and underwriting teams in the mortgage or lending sector
• 5+ years of people management experience
• Deep understanding of regulatory guidelines and risk frameworks
• Analytical expertise within Salesforce to create performance reports and dashboards
• Extensive title curative experience, including resolving title defects
