Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cost Accounting Manager to lead its cost accounting function and support business decisions through detailed cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost accounting processes, including cost allocation and inventory valuation
• Drive accurate and timely close processes for COGS and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare cost-related reporting packages for executive leadership and support automation improvements in cost tracking

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred
• 7-15 years of progressive experience in cost accounting or corporate finance
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and revenue recognition (ASC 606 experience)
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel
• Proven ability to manage complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights
