PreBill Specialist - job 1 of 2

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PreBill Specialist I to provide pre-billing and coding services under the supervision of the Billing Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify prebill information, patient demographics, payor information, and transport modifiers before coding
• Utilize systems to locate insurance and patient demographic information and move claims through workflows as needed
• Consistently achieve or exceed daily production metrics and quality goals while adhering to company policies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Certification in Medical Billing and Coding preferred but not required
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred
• 1+ years of experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role preferred
• Working knowledge of health insurance verification and major payor groups preferred
