Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contract Accountant for a news nonprofit.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily entries
• Prepare financial statements and reports, and perform bank reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and assist with tax preparation and audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proficiency in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP principles
• Experience with grant accounting and reporting
