Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Associate II Payment Research Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and balance payment details, posting payments to patient accounts using various systems
• Research and validate payment postings, making adjustments and following up to ensure account resolution
• Collaborate with other teams and escalate issues to leadership while meeting productivity and quality goals

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year of full cycle medical billing experience
• At least six (6) months in a healthcare Cash Posting role
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and modifiers
• Experience with insurance claim appeals and basic accounting procedures
