Clinical Coding Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Policy Coding Administrator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate medical policy effectiveness and support business decisions
  • Support medical policy development by identifying and updating appropriate procedure and diagnosis codes
  • Provide subject matter expertise for cross-functional collaboration on coding edit decision-making
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant work experience
  • Current certification as a professional coder (RHIA, RHIT, or CPC)
  • Four years of experience applying clinical coding expertise, with two years in a health plan or healthcare setting
  • Experience with claims processing systems and product configuration
  • Current Washington State License as an RN, ARNP, or PA is a bonus (not required)
